Do you really mean your radio? If radio, why not just not put the antenna up all the way? If receiver, why not just use the tried and true, drinking straw wrap technique?

Ive been using a smiley rubber ducky on my 8U for over 2 years for all airplanes, great for indoor electrics as well, but putting the antenna up half works almost as well (assuming were talking about the Transmitter

If Rx just wrap about 18" of the wire around a core (cardboard-whatever) about 4" back from the Rx and tape what's left on the fuse somewhere

Naturally, if you shorten the antenna length, range will decrease. Since youre indoors, it might not be a problem. If you want to throw some money at it, follow smallfly's advice and get yourself a rubber ducky antenna. Then you will look cool too.
