Default Using a Futaba 9CA radio with trainer box?

I have a Futaba 9CA radio that has the square plug in for trainer cord.If I use a conquest 4 channel buddy box using the futaba square to round trainer cord for this hookup. Will the dual rates, expodential and flapperons still work on buddy box?

I use my 9C with a Skysport 4 channel buddy box and everything works fine. In your trainer menu you can assign which fuctions the buddy box may have and how they operate!

Where did you get the cable to do this?
If you made it, where did you get the plugs?

It actually came with the USB controller for GP RealFlight Simulator. It works great but requires the student radio to be turned on!!!

Yes, futaba makes a round to square trainer cord. I have one and it works great on my 9C and 4VF.

HighRPM,

The cord that came with your USB controller works as a trainer cord? D@#$ IT! I thought about it, but was told it wouldn't work.

Oh well, should have given it a try.

Yes it does, the only thing that is different is the power on the student radio must be turned on, which also required me to remove the crystal (potential danger there) otherwise works great.
