Default Receivers, Receivers.....???

Are there advantages to using any specific type of receiver.....My example would be......

A 28% scale with g-38 gas, 6 channel Fut. 6 computer trans., I use a normal setup with 2 aielieron servos on a Y connector, 2 elevator servos on a Y reverse conector, one rudder, one throttle, and one choke servo. The servos are high torque, but not digital or high speed, 4.8 volt 1600 battery, plane is flown for enjoyment as in Sunday/Sport.....currently using the Fut 127 7 channel receiver that came with the transmitter......any reason to change??? Thanks wc
