Default Futaba 7CAP Tx Frequency

I have a new Futaba 7CAP transmitter on CH 38 purchased on EBay. I want to change the frequency to CH 34 to use with my existing receivers. How do I do this?

purchase the appropriate crystal for your frequency and swop it with the one on the rear of the tranny.

If the transmitter has a frequency "module", you can purchase another on your channel. If it has a crystal, you will need to send it in to a radio service facility to be changed and correctly tuned to prevent any bleed over to other channels.
Here is a good thread that discusses this:

FF7 does not have a module, it is moulded like a module but it is not. just a crystal is required.

If it is just a crystal, you cannot legally change the frequency in the US. It has to be done by an FCC licensed technician, and tuned to the crystal.
