Try D & M Electronics they are west of Cleveland, in Hartville I think I used Dave before he moved from Michigan. If you are close Friday used to be "walk in" day and he would fix it while you wait. D & M advertises in the magazines and is AMA Station 105(I think)

Default Futaba repair in Ohio

Hi Mike! I just had my 8UAF repaired by one of my friends in Eaton Oh.
What did your radio do or not do to let you know you have a problem?

Still flying the 4*60?
Where is Eaton? Have a number for them.
Got hit twice in one flight. The second time the smoke came on and the bird turned almost inverted.
We did another range check after I got it down and it jittered at 20 feet. At home it is fine even with the motor running. I tried a friends new module and crystal and the range actually went down some with it.
I really don't know what the deal is.
Intermitant trouble scares me.......
I may take it up in an hour or 2 with the same stuff. It has always worked fine.

I saw their add but it is a long drive from here and I am still not sure it wasn't the field and I would really hate to make the trip there if someone is closer. A guy on the next channel up claimed he got hit..

Thanks guys!!

Mike I still have the 4 Star 60...It has a Saito 100 on the nose. I also recovered it. Best 100 dollars I've spent on used RC stuff. It sounds like you are still ruling out other sources of radio interference. Eaton is the last town on 70 west before Indiana. My buddy is out of town until Saturday. I have a 8UAF you can use if you decide to ship it off before Saturday.
