Default AM to FM conversion?

I have a Futaba FP-R114H AM receiver and I am wondering if it can be converted to FM.

Thanks
Dave

NO is the simple answer.

The more complicated answer is Yes, but not cost effectively. If you could find someone with the knowledge, skills, end equipment to do it, (a communications engineer) he would charge several times its value to do it. Many components would have to change values, maybe different IC's too. Retuning, a different crystal, forget it. Might not be FCC type accepted, etc.

Just buy a new FM receiver.
