Default Rudder to elevator mix question

If I mix out the pitch coupling during knife edge flight, will I keep this mix on for all flying? i.e. for hovering, harriers, high alpha rolls etc? Or will I need to turn off the mix for certain flying? I have yet to mix out pitch coupling on any of my planes so I'm curious how it works (I'm tired of using my thumbs to correct for my planes' bad habits).

Also will high alpha knife edges work with the same mixing as the high speed knife edges?

I first had mine set up so that I could turn it off and on when needed. I now leave it on and find that the plane is more predictable.

I set up Rudder to Aileron and Rudder to Elevator mixes for schedule flying and leave them on all the time. I figure for 3D you are using all the controls to achieve your desired manouvre and this vary's depending on what you are trying to achieve.
