Default Are JR Match boxes reliable and consistant?

I'm thinking about using the JR Matchbox instead of a reversing "Y". I like to set endpoints for each elevator half servo separately. That way I'll have the same center and endpoints for both halves. The Electrodynamics reversing "Y" I have now does not have all those adjustments. Yes I know a 9C would solve this but I can't afford one right now.

If it was not reliable JR would not sell it. There is not much inside the Matchbox. Not much to go wrong.
