Default JR 8103

Does any one know the deferent types of the JR8103 some have a DT and some don’t

Just to clarify I’m not asking about the fm, pcm, ppc air or heli I am looking for the up grads from the older ones to the newer ones and what to look out for or to look for when buying a used 8103

I have searched on the net for info like this and came up blank.

Thanks

The DT means "Digital Trim". The 8103/3810 first had analog trim, the later version, from around 1998 or so, has 3+1 digital trim.

I have a 8103DT and the Aileron, Rudder, and Elevator trim levers are silver. The throttle trim is black. If you can hold the radio (ie: not buying it online) the digital trims will only "click" when you push them and spring back to the center. The non digital trims (and throttle servo on a DT) will slide all the way and stay there.

Steve
I will probably buy on line but the info you gave me will help
To determine the different types from a pic.

How do you like your radio

Thanks
Tod.

It will also say on the 3810/8103 ADT version, ADT at the bottom of the front panel on the label. just underneath the pushbuttons.
