Futaba S3305?
Hi Guys, I'm thinking of getting the Futaba S3305 servos for my next 1/4 scale plane. Since they are rated at 99 oz/in they seem a cost effective (Ok, cheap at $35.99 at ServoCity)) alternative to pricier high torque servos. Anyone try them out yet on a plane??
Thanks.
Thanks.

RE: Futaba S3305?
I used them on a 33% Sukhoi as a test of their reliability. I had over 200 flights on them and they were still going strong when they were pulled from the airframe. Since then many people that I know have used them as a very reliable metal geared high torque servo. I used them on a 6 volt system getting 124 oz/in, but 99 oz/in would be more than fine on a 1/4 scale.

I have no problems with this servo, and it is my favorite for rudder. The only thing, if you had to nitpick is that they do seem a bit louder than my other servos
