can someone explain the difference between the 7CAP and 7CHP?

Sure.....

"The 7CAP features switches in what would be considered an "airplane friendly" layout since the trainer switch is on the left side and the throttle is ratcheted. The 7CH (heli version) has the idle-up switch on the upper left and a smooth throttle (no ratchet) for more precise throttle control in hovers."
