I like the speed and torque of my 621's actually. Try them on 6 volts if you have not done so. I do not like the fact that now they wont find center well. Out of the box they did...[]

I always run 6V. At first, i thought maybe the pack was low, but I charged it up and tried again. Same result. Maybe I got a bad one, but both servos exhibit the exaxt same problem. I'll be swapping them out and saving them for a smaller bird. Don't want to risk them on the Showtime.

Got burned on some FMA servos once!! They were a victim of really bad quality controll. Looks like Blue Bird has the same problem!! I'll stick with HiTec. I'm really happy with them and haven't had a bad one yet. Glad some people have a sense of adventure. Saves the rest of use a lot of grief. Thanks for letting the rest of us know. After hearing about that many bad servos in this short thread you will NEVER see a Blue Bird servo in my planes. It only takes one unreliable servo to waste a good airplane!!

So it has been a few years since someone posted here and I can see that they have the servos back on our friendly auction site. What are the latest reviews on this manufacturer? Do they hold up? Are they worth the cost savings?

I have owned all types of servos from expensive Futabas, Spektrum, Savox, and JR. At some point every single manufacturer I have had failures. Most recent was a JR 8411. I have a friend who has been testing these in his Jets one flight surface at a time and now his jets are fully controlled by Blue Bird. And he has also convinced me to try them out. I have ordered 9 BLS 3057 for my Top RC Galeb G4. He has 0 complaints about them. and for the performance they and torque and price looks like a winner to me. I wont say I will replace all my airplanes with Blue Birds but def gonna give them a try.

I switched to Bluebird servos for all my 35% 3D planes and turbines jets since Q1 of 2016. The 4210 and 42A's are the best for high torque. Waiting on a shipment of H50B's from BB TW. They have a USA disty now: http://flightcomp.com/collections/blue-bird-servos.

I'll admit to some skepticism from back in the day but I got a set for a review plane and we have been absolutely thrashing a set I got from Tail Dragger RC in a Pilot RC Skywolf and they have been very well up to the task

I have been using BB servos since Q1 of 2016. They have been great. I have tried a lot of them.
I fly a lot and I stress the servos a lot. I have busted them all:
MKS 777, MKS HBL 380, BB 36A, BB 4210, Hitec/etc.


However the CS and the warranty from BB is great. Going on season 2 now for the original ones from Q1 2016.


Just got my shipment of 18 BB servos:
