Default FutabaT6XA discharging with dioade block

Need help.
Have a Futaba t6xa and it has a diaode that prevents discharging the battery. The transmitter can de disassembled unplug battery then dischsrge. Is there any other way short of sending off to Futaba somewhere to get around the dioade?
Thanks

Two ways this can be done....You can just splice a female lead into the battery connection line and leave it so you can get at it without removing the battery or you can go to www.siriuselectronics.com for information on how to by-pass the diode. Good luck Dave
