I saw in the next post that your rx is inoperative after a crash. Have you tried a new crystal in it. That may be all that is wrong with it. Just a thought.

Thanks for the thought George ;Since I'm just getting started in this hobby and wasn't really sure what the problem was I ordered a new crystal the same time I ordered the receiver.I made sure everything was charged up good and tried the new crystal in my old receiver since it wouldn't work in the new receiver. It didn't make any difference,no go.

tykerider,

Ok, I did a little experimenting with my R127DP receiver. I programmed my Futaba Super 7 transmitter to PCM and found that it will control the receiver. The Super 7 and the heli version of the radio you have both came with the R128DP receiver which is still available.

Although still available, the R128DP receiver is pretty expensive and you would probably be better off to just spring for a new system. Many 6 ch computer systems (complete with tx, rx, servos, etc.) are no more expensive than just the receiver listed. You can get a non computer 6 ch radio for much less.

Just a thought,

George
