Can you use Futaba receivers with JR?
Hi
This might be a dumb question, but that's the kind of guy I am. I have a chance to purchase a JR 8103 pretty cheap. The problem I have is that I have been using Futaba for awhile and have accumulated around six receivers. Can these be used with JR?
Thanks for your help

JR and Futaba are not compatible as far as recievers go. one is pos shift and the other is negative so they will not work at all. Sorry to bear bad news as the 8103 is my favorite radio.

Have to agree with above. JR is positive shift and Futaba is negative. You cannot use one's receiver with the other's Tx.
Another option is to call ServoCity.com (they don't have it listed on their site you have to call them) and purchase just a Futaba 9C transmitter for $260. More "bang for the buck" then an 8103. 9C is far more versatile radio then the 8103 and is cheaper.
Do your research and see for yourself.
