Futaba ratchet action

Can the silly ratchet action be removed from the left stick on the new Futaba 7CAP? The radio is on its way so I donâ€™t have the manual yet. I fly mode II and have never wanted or had the ratchet action on a radio before.

Just open it up and either put a piece of fuel tubing over the metal arm or just lightly bend it away from the teeth...
