Default oppisite sevros

Is it true that Hitec servos and Futaba servos turn in oppisite directions IF this is true I can eliminate servo reversers. thanks for any info

Yes, it is true but; the total travel or speed may differ slightly which could cause problems if you are using them on a split elevator.

Rodney hits the nail on the head. Very seldom will you get servos that are reversed and move the same speeds and distance. Rather use a
reverser or use 2 channels, assuming you have a computer radio.

Where can I get a y-harness with reverser for hitec? The only one I've found is for Futaba. Can I use that one with hitec's equipment?

Yes that is also true. But I have been running tests on servos and find that there are great variances between servos of the same make and model. You might as well mix makes. I am currently running a Futaba 9206 on one aileron and a Hitec 615 on the other aileron on a 96" Stradecher 600. It works OK even though there is a great difference between the deadband of the two.
