Default JR 9303 TX Memory Backup

Does the JR 9303 transmitter use the traditional lithium battery for memory support? I remember reading one place it uses a lithium battery, but have also recall a reference elsewhere to using flash memory.
Thanks.

The 9303 & the 9XII now use flash memory and no longer require the Lithium cell.
