Default what goes where

i purchased a plane with a jr receiver in it. i am changing it to my futaba receiver. problem is, i didnt realize that they were different until i unplugged everything. now i dont know where to plug everything in. the plane has eight servos. one throttle, one rudder, two elevator, four ailerons. i know where the throttle and the rudder go. i assume i can use a y harness for the ailerons, and plug this on number one. but where do i plug the two elevator servos . do i use a y harness for these , and plug in on number two. i have a futaba six channel computer radio. i think i really messed this up. the plane is a morris hobbys jerrys big boy. if that helps.

Which TX do you have? The channel assignment may vary based on the TX utilized. Software mixes are used to couple the surfaces, i.e. ailerons and elevators. A wye can be used on each wing halve, with each wing halve powered by a single RX channel.

Typically Futaba/Hitec"

ch#1=Aileron
ch#2= Elevator
ch#3= Throttle
ch#4= Rudder
ch#5= 2nd Elevator
ch#6= Flaps/2nd Aileron
ch#7= 2nd Aileron
ch#8= 2nd elevator

ok, i think i got this figured out. i put the ailerons in channel one and six, mixed in flaps. i used a reversing " y " for the elevator. all seems well. does anyone see any problems with this set-up. thanks again.
