Default f.M. or P.C.M. ?

We are have an ongoing debate in our r/c club about the pros and cons of pcm vrs fm with gas engines. can someone please give me some input?

looks to me like chester needs to be using PCM on his gas planes. Something not mentioned here is that you will get little more distance during a range check with the antenna down using PCM.

In my experience PCM gives me about 35% more range vs PPM during range checking..
