Default Retract and Flap

Dear Danny,

I am currently setting up a world model giant scale zero and using two retract servo.I am using a JR 2106 (6 Channel ) radio and using a 7 channel receiver that comes with the radio. My problem is when i use a Y harness for two of the retract servo.Well the result turns out one will come down and the other won't and when I switch it the other will come downand one will go up. The only I have figured it out is put the other retract on to the flap channel.Means I have to use two switch for the retract.

This particular plane comes with flap....so Danny does my radio do not have enough channel for this kind of setup or is there a way for me to use this radio with his kind of setup? I bought this radio just for the plane....please help.[]

Default RE: Retract and Flap

bensonmak,

I guess you are trying to get Danny from the JR support forum to answer you question. Since you posted it here, I will try to answer.

I assume you have the servos mounted in the center of the wing. Now, do you have both linkage rods on the same side of the two servos (rods toward the front or back of the wing)? If so, just remove one of the servo horns, rotate it 180 degrees so the rod is opposite the second servo and reinstall it on the servo. This should solve your problem. If not, you can also use a Y-harness with a servo reverser in it.

I hope you understand and it fixes your problem.

George
