RE: Futaba 9C sliders?
You guys that are using the slider for flaps, please clue me in !! I am using a switch programed with master as offset.
I have not been able to program a slider for flap without having movement both up and down from neutral.
Can it be programed for downward movement only ??
Thanks,

Or, move flaps to 1/2 down, slider to middle, servo arm to middle, adjust and connect linkage.
Flaperons are set up on their respective manu.

When you move the slider up you can set that value to zero so that the flaps only move down when the slider is down from the center point. I think that setting is on the screen where you set Ch6 to VR(D) or VR(E). I do not have the 9c but I have programed a few to set up the flaps that way so I know that it is possible.

The flap servo like any other servo travels in two direction. To get 100% of half the travel, move the slider all the way up and neutralize the flap's control surfaces. If you're using the Airbrake or Full Span Ailerons, it's important to have the slider set correctly or you won't have the other half of the travel of the flap servos.
