Will a hightech 555 receiver work with a Jr 421 radio, if the crystals freq is the same?

Thanks, I have a couple of Zagis, one with hitech the other with Jr. I am going to fly both with a jr421 if I can get it set up. As you have figured out, I am a LOT green at this.
