Default Transmitter Charging Problem

I have an older JR Computer Radio that seems to be getting harder to charge because the female connector in the transmitter is getting worn and I really have to work at it to get a good contact made. Any suggestions? It does the same thing with a variety of chargers, so I don't think it's the male connector. Jim

Default RE: Transmitter Charging Problem

Not sure if this will help, but I had a Futaba 7UAFS Tx that had the same problem. I took the back off the Tx and found the power jack that is soldered to a PC board. One of the solder connections was cracked. After resoldering this connection, I had no more charging problems.
Hope this helps. Jim
