Futaba FP-4NBL & MCR-4A Question
Last fall I picked up a MIB Futaba FP-4NBL system with a MCR-4A rx with built in speed control and 2 133 servos. My questions is, will the rx handle an 8 cell pack? Given the age of this unit, I don't think there were too many 8 cell packs around then. The info sheet says up to 8.4 volt pack (7 cell) and 100 amps continuous current. I plan on installing this in a Kadet EP-42. Yes I know they call for a 7 cell pack and include a speed control, but I'd like to have a little extra power on tap and having everything in one package is nice. Any insight would be appreciated.

RE: Futaba FP-4NBL & MCR-4A Question
I read one review on the system that said Futaba did aprove an 8 cell pack, but everything else written about it, including the Futaba instruction sheet listed the 7 cell as max. I only used 6 and 7 cell packs on both mine. Always worked just fine.
