Default TX BATTERY LIFE TIME?

I have a Airtronics 6000 Sport Version, my TX batteries ran out of juice in less them 3 minutes flying time, prior to this it been charging for 14 hours. Tried another battery and the same problem happen. Has anyone had the same experience with this radio?

Default RE: TX BATTERY LIFE TIME?

To many possibilities to say what is wrong for sure. First, remove the battery from the transmitter and cycle it on a known good charger. That will tell you whether or not it is a bad battery. If it cycles properly, then your transmitter may be at fault, if not then you know it is most probably a bad battery. After charging the battery, check the voltage of each cell, you can do this by using a sharp pointed probe to punch through the insulation around each cell and measure voltage to see of one or more of them are bad.
