I know I have been asking a lot of questions about mixing the rudder with the ducted fans and having the fans always on. I think I know the reason: the rudder is the master and the Ducted Fans are slaves to the rudder. At netural the rudder is putting out 50% thus the fans are running. At full left or right the fans are running at ful speed.

Question: Can this be corrected to the point they are off when at netural and move to full speed when the stick is moved to the left or right?

I think you discovered the problem... It makes perfect sense if OFFSET is not active at 100% and Rate is at 100% on both slaved rudder/slave mixes. You may have to use servo reverse to get the ESC’s to work as needed, otherwise one fan may operate and the latter not.
