I'm a novice, setting up a trainer for it's first flight. I read somewhere a metal on metal contact of a metal clevis and a metal throttle arm can cause radio interference. Is this possible or likely? If there is potential, is there any way to easily reduce the hazard or should I just replace the clevis?

Yes, interference is possible. A plastic (nylon?) clevis is preferred when connecting to a metal throttle arm. Don't worry too much about the plastic breaking. Plastic holds up quite well and if it should break it would not be a disaster like on an elevator.

Thank you for your response. Yep, heard that before, just lazy, don't want to replace the clevis. But I will now.
