Default Need Manual for Hitec Flash 4 radio!

I was able to download the hitec Flash 4/5 "System X" manual but there are a lot of added items compared to my older Flash 4 radio...not even sure what features it has...any one have a pdf file of this older manual as hitec took it off there webpage.

My email address: kctradingco (at sign) kctrading.net

Thank you for any help!

Default RE: Need Manual for Hitec Flash 4 radio!

Hi again,

The most annoying difference between the "old 4 serie" and the new 4X is that after making changes in the program you must go to the save menu "SA" and push the "cut/save"-button to -indeed- save the settings. If you don't do that and switch off the TX, all changes are lost. It's a rather annoying situation when you're used to automatic saving of program.

It's really clearly marked in the manual with all the examples of every feauture.

No other critics for this nice TX.

Does a Hitec Flash4 have EXPonential/EPA? The manual shows it but it does not come up on the radio menu.

After holding down the up and dn buttons I get a flashing ACRO and a 1, next I get a flashing RST and AL, then a flashing SA, then a flashing Off V-Tail, flashing off Elevon, flashing off and Ail arrows Rud, then it goes to 2 S and an upside down F

Thanks for any help
