I have a Hitec 5955 I think it is the best high powered servo available , I plan to use it on My Extra 260 for Hanger 9, I have plugged it in to my Edge 540. It is very fast and centers in the same sport every time. I will use it on my Rudder on my Extra 260 when I get it. Hope this helps.

I used JR ds8411 everywhere on my 35% Cap. As an experiment, I replaced two 8411 on rudder with a single hitec 5955tg. it has worked well so far (perhaps 20 flights).

Cool, does the 5955 draw alot of power? Because I just hooked mine up for a little while.

I don't recall ever measuring the current draw of the big hitec servo. I am running 6.0 volts by the way. I suspect it draws in the same range as the two 8411's, maybe less.

I'm not familiar with any of those servos but these manufacturer numbers might be useful.

JR DS8411 = Torgue - 6 volts -- 155, Speed - 6 volts -- 0.18, Cost -- $114.95
Futaba = Torgue - 6 volts -- 278, Speed - 6 volts -- 0.19, Cost -- $109.99
Hitec HS-5955TG = Torgue - 6 volts -- 330, Speed - 6 volts -- 0.15, Cost -- $114.95
