Default JR 9303 w Synthesized Module

Hello everyone! Is anybody using JR's new synthesized frequency module with the 9303 (or any other transmitter for that matter)?? Would like to hear how people are making out so far, range checks, etc...
Take care and thanks.

I've been using one for a couple of months and it works great. I use it with the supplied 649JR rx and a Hitec 555[jr shift], and a couple of Airtronic 7-ch rx's and I normally walk 100 steps, ant down for a range check and it will go that far with any of my rx's. I do not know what the max is because I stop at 100 steps.
One thing I noticed was that my 9303/syn module[with ant retracted] will trigger my Hobbico frequency checker[no antenna] at a longer range than a couple of futaba 9c's will and about the same distance as my RD6000 will. Probably doesn't mean anything just thought I would mention it.

I've had a different experience. I bought one and range tested it side by side with the crystal module. I got about half the range with the syth module. I exchanged it for another one and tested again. This time I got about 85% of the range with synth module. I may try a swap again, but if the range isn't as good as the standard moduled, I won't use it.

I have the same problem with my new 9303 and 2100 receiver. My standard 6102 with cyrstal gets consitantly more range almost 50 paces more. When i re-tuned the 2100 with the 9303 ant. fully extended i did increase the range but still not the same. I switched the module out of the 9303 for a cyrstal module from another 9303, re-tuned the 2100 and problem solved. What did you find on yours?
