Default Hitec Eclispe 7 Dual elevator servo's solution

The Hitec Eclispe 7 doesn't support dual elevator servos on seperate channels, a glaring weakness in this transmitter, in my opinion, one solution is to use a reversing wye or servo reversing extension on one servo, another solution which I installed today on my U Can Do 60 is a JR Matchbox, while JR states that the matchbox hasn't been tested on other brands of radios they say it should work and so far for me it works fine, the big advantage of the Matchbox over a servo reversing lead or wye is that you can individually adjust each servo and get matching elevator movement. I'm using it with an Eclispe 7 and Hitec QPCM receiver with Hitec 625 servos on each elevator half.

How do you like that Q-Pcm receiver? Is it very fast?

Default RE: Hitec Eclispe 7 Dual elevator servo's solution

I can't say that I've really noticed a big difference in response speed, the big thing I like is the "fail safe" feature, we sometimes get a lot of hits at our field, after watching a gas powered Yak go totally out of control at full throttle and crash narely missing the pit area, I decided to go with the PCM for the "fail safe" feature, I've programed mine to go to idle in the event of a broken radio connection, at least that way if the plane goes down it won't be at full throttle.
