Default What kind of Radio is this?

http://cgi.govliquidation.com/auctio...&convertTo=USD

I'm trying to find out what kind of radio this is. I can't tell from the picture in the center. There is no other information about the radio other than what I see on the box.

I'm a thinking it is a 9Z but I'm not sure.

Hopefully I can get some help

Thanks alot

~Michael~

not a 9Z. futaba's website has manuals with drawings that should help identify. pay attention to the slider on the side and knobs on top.

It's a 9vap!!! Older pcm/ppm(fm) computer radio - no longer made, replaced by the 9z or 9c I beleive.

Thanks for the very quick response. Before I checked this thread, I call my good flying bud, and he said the same thing. It was older than the 9Z, and the 9Z was what replaced this certain radio.

Do you think it might sell somewhere. I don't know how old that certain type is, but could selling it be done. I'm sure someone might want it.

Thanks

Late 90's - I think. Never had one myself, but can remember wishing I did.

I'm sure someone would pick it up, there's lots of them still out there.
