Default CAN I USE MY RADIO/RECEIVER FOR UNDERWATER PURPOSE?

Hi,

Nowadays, ı am planning to make a wireless underwater camera. I am not sure if ı can use my existing transmitter (Futaba 9 Cap for airplanes) for controlling the servo to tilt the camera. (the water resistant camera system will be about 10 meters below the water surface) I think the transmition logic is completely different when going underwater but it might be able to control from some distance..

Any comments please,

Thanks,

Fatih

My understanding is that you're only going to get about 1 meter of range under water, maybe a little more, maybe a little less. Here in the US we can't use 72 MHz for "land' use, but use 75MHz instead. I would post in the sub forum as these guys would know all the ins and outs of transmission underwater.
