Hi

Does anyone know if the Hitec Focus 4 is compatible with a Futaba transmitter? I ended up with one of these and will be giving it to a friend with a Futaba 6TXAS.

If so can he use a standard Futaba trainer cord?

Check with Futaba. They will recommend the right trainer cord for that. Yes it will work.

I have a Focus 4 that was my first radio and used Futaba buddy boxes with it. I took the crystal, battery and antenna out and use it as a buddy box on both Hitec and Futaba. I never had any problems. Hitec WAS listed to be Futaba compatible.
