Receiver Question
Hi i bought a new Sanwa VG 6000 radio (Airtronics) you guys probable no it better. As i am from Northern Ireland. Anyway i bought it to go with my Great Planes slowpoke. One of my other model being a Thunder Tiger Laze p51 is using a old Sanwa radio with the old black sanwa receiver. So i want to do away with the old radio and use the new computer radio for both of my models. The only thing The thunder tiger has the old black sanwa receiver so to get it to work with the new radio i had to unplug the servos and put them in different slots from what they where using the old radio. I have not flown yet and all is working the way it should on the ground just want someone to confirm thats its OK to use a old black sanwa receiver in top condition with a new radio.

RE: Receiver Question
As long as the correct servo wiggles when the appropriate stick is moved you shouldn't have a problem. Which stick moves which servo is determined the way/sequence the transmitter sends it's signal. The receiver doesn't care. It just moves sevo one to what ever position it is told to... the receiver doesn't care if it's the throttle or the elevator.
