Ganging servos
Did a search and turned up nothing, question being can you gang 2 futaba 148s to increase the torque from 44oz to 88oz? Downfalls and problems? Any help greatly appreciated. Jon

RE: Ganging servos
I suppose you could, but for that small of a servo, I'm betting it is in a small plane, so the weight penalty wouldn't be worth it....once you figure, hardware, servo, and mounting point
at that torque the servo is still pretty cheap.. I would just get a better servo

RE: Ganging servos
Actually being rather cheap and having lots of these servos, weight factor is not an issue. 10lb plane given to me, but calling for 80oz torque servos on ailerons. Curious as to drawbacks..... servos binding excessive current draw and such.

RE: Ganging servos
The 148 servo with a deadband of 13us and a very good linearity curve should not cause problems if it is directly connected to another 148. Just adjust them with the linkage so they do not fight each other at neutral.
If you are skeptical you can always use the horse draw bar linkage
