futaba s3001 at servo city
41.7 oz at 4.8v
48.0 oz at 6.0v
at tower hobbies
33.3oz at 4.8v
41.7oz at 6.0v

42oz with no ref. to voltage
so who is right ????
i have also seen these kind of missmach numbers for other servos
who has the true skinny????

it may be that these web sites are useing the torque of 42oz that futaba gives and doing the math to figure out the other voltage torque. Its looks that no one really knows what voltage futaba is using to come up with the 42 oz of torque. So some people figure its the 4.8v and some people think its the 6.0v.
Who really knows???
would someone put these servos on a dyno and give us the real numbers : )

This has been asked more than once, going back to May or earlier.
Futaba isn't forthcoming at all with the answers, so far.
It's a really sore subject, apparently. Careful you don't ask too often
Using the advanced search function... search for the word torque in the radio manufacturer's
sub-forum for futaba. Why someone doesn't just test the things and report some numbers is beyond me.
