Can I use a Hitec receiver with Futaba Transmitter?

Yes. I have 8 planes I run off of my 9c and all of them are equipped with Hitec 8 CH FM receivers.

Yes and No

You can only use negative shift versions of Hitec Rx's or use the one selectable shift version of the Supreme. Besides the one selectable model, All Hitec Rx's are sold in either modulation shift so be careful in what you buy particularly if you are buying used.

get the hitec rx with futaba (I think negative) modulation orthe shift selectable Supreme rx

yeah they work fine unless you have the Q pcm reciever from hitech. then you need the hitech transmitter.

Yes, PCM and its variations are specific to the brand of radio and sometimes even teh model.

Use only the same brand crystal as the brand Rx you intend to use it in. Also use only dual conversion crystals in a dual conversion Rx.
