Hitec Micro 555 with Futaba 7 CAP
I have a Hitec Micro 555 that I took from an electric powered plane and would like to use in a new build of a Balsa USA Phaeton II (40 sized glow). I plan to use the Hitec HS 81 for the throttle, but I have several Futaba S3151 (digital Standard Sized Servos). I will need to get a new crystal for the receiver; the old crystal is for channel 38 (high range) and my Futaba 7 CAP operates on channel 21.
My questions are (1) will the Micro 555 have the same range as a standard receiver, (2) will it provide adequate power to the larger Servos, and (3) will the new crystal operate properly given that the Futaba recievers for these ranges are different?
