Default Futaba 6EXA TX with park flyer RXs ?

Would it be possible to use the above TX with the 35MHz RXs (and, of course, the servos and ESCs) supplied with the Hobbyzone Aerobird Xtreme and the Parkflyers / ArtTech Edge 540T ?

If so :

would all the facilities (including the computer ones) be available - I guess so as I'd expect the TX to be sending whatever has been configured to the 'dumb' RX ?

what sort of crystal pairs would need to be bought for these combinations ?

I've read in the BMFA handbook that you should not use two 'matched' crystals from different manufacturers. The Edge has a micro RX with what seems to be a pretty small crystal. Can you obtain matched pairs for this and the 6EXA TX ?

Thanks
