Suggestions for my next new radio
Looking to up grade from a Flash5X Hitec radio.Either,Hitec,Futaba or multiplex evo? Any and all suggestions would be great.I fly mostly sport scale and just getting into 3D Thanxs,stefanP

The Futaba 9C currently seems to be a very popular choice. I do think I read somewhere that Hitec is scheduled to release a new high end radio soon. I've never even seen a Multiplex transmitter, but I am in a small club that is mostly Futaba and Hitec users.
If you are around other 3D flyers, talk to them about the programming they use and how many switches or sliders they use regularly. Then, try to go to a hobby shop that stocks all of your likely choices. Take your neck strap, tray, etc (if you use any of these things) and hold each radio as if you were flying, antenna extended, to get a feel for them. Being able to compare all of them at once takes out the short term memory factor.
