HELP!! hitec optic 6 and micro receivers!!!
hey guys and gals,
i have a Hitec optic 6 transmitter and whenever i try to use a micro receiver with it (gws, JR) the range only goes to about 50 feet and then its starts to spazz out. this happens with ANY micro receiver that i use with this transmitter. the signal goes out at EXACTLY the same distance with all of the different receivers. do you guys know whats wrong?

What TX module are you using?
Have you verified the TX works well with standard size RX's?
Do the Micro RX's work with other TX's.
Are the crystals in play designed for each RX?
Were using the Optics with a synth module with several Hitec micro RX's without issue.

I have sorta the same problem. I too have an Optic 6 with a Cirrus micro receiver. I bought a new crystal for it and when i turn on the transmitter with the antenna retracted, it works fine. When I extend the antenna, the servos go nuts and sometimes it just stops working. I have the antenna routed to the tail and taped on at the end with nothing touching it. Can anyone relate here? Please help!!
