I have flown this particular biplane with a FMA FM rx for many flights without a glitch. After I installed the flying wires the airplane started to act up. I've been told to change to PCM rx to solve the problem.
Is that the only solution? Some "experts" say going to 6VDC would inprove the signal to noise ratio, getting rid of the problem as well. Does anybody KNOW?
Thanks a million

PCM will not fix your problem, it will only hide it.

If everythiong was great befor you added the flying wires, I'd suspect them. Do you have some metal to metal contacts that can vibrate (like metal clevis in a metal horn?). The above answer about PCM just masking the problem is correct. Since the problem occured after installing the flying wires, remove them for a flight or two and see if the problem dissappears. If it does, reinstall them paying particular attention to have no metal to metal contacts that can vibrate.
