Default Futaba aileron mixing question???

my right aileron is on channel 1. i have a 5 channel hitec receiver (555) with a futaba 6exap computer radio. my left aileron will have to be on channel 5. however, channel 5 is my gear channel and is on a toggle switch. my left aileron will only go all the way up or all the way down. any way to electronically fix this problem????? thanks all.

The 6EXA cannot mix any random channels together. Therefore to use 2 servos for ailerons, a six channel receiver is required. With the 6EXA, you need the servos to be plugged into the channel 1 and 6 slots. The options you have are to either buy a 6 channel receiver, or buy an external mixing board. GWS makes a V-tail mixing board that costs like $15. It can be used for Ailerons, elevons, and V-tail.

Unfortunately not. Because channel 5 is only a toggle switch used for retractable landing gears.
