Default What do I need to get this going?

Hi im new to the forum and really want to start with RC cars but real ones this is my first one that my cousin gave to me as he had brought a gas one now but its missing some parts as he took them out to use on his new one.
What does it need?

Short answer a lot of things. Looks like you're missing the radio, servos, drive motor and battery pack. It would probably be cheaper to buy a whole new car and radio than to try to piecemeal this one back together.

Impossible to give a useful answer from a couple of photos. I agree with the Major that these gift items tend to cost you more in time, trouble, and money than they are worth. Especially if the car is out of production, or even worse, the company is out of business. Been there, done that.

You need a 2 channel radio and receiver.
2 servos (steering and mechanical speed control) The speed control is that orangish thing with all the wires and clear case.
Then you need a battery (more that one is better), and a charger.
Go to one of the online stores and start shopping. It will probably cost more that you would expect.

Thanks ultra Stick, I have 2 batterys now, the car is a tamiya ??? do you know of any good websites that sell them?
