Default Dual ele. servos w/ 8103 help.

Hey guys,
I am getting my 8103 all set up in my U-Can-Do, and was trying to find the section in the manual about running dual ele servos. Am i just reading over it?? If anyone can point me in the right direction i would be forever greatfull (and i promise not to blame you when i crash!! ) lol. I think i would rather run them direct to the rx, rather than using a reversing y harness. Thanks for any help!

I'm not familiar with the 8103, but you might look for something called ailevator. That's what it is on my 9CAP.

i dont have my manual handy but look for use of mixes 4 or 5 and then your trim level will take care of both servos ( a mix of elevator to aux 1 ) for example. make sure to set the reverse up by the transmitter to having the servo moving in the direction you need.

I think it is mixes 5 & 6 that were set up for dual elevators. You can probably download the manual from Horizon's website.

I use the futaba 8uafs and here is how i set up 2 elevator servos.

Left elev. in channel 7 or 8
right elev in ch 2.

PMIX1
Master= elev.
Slave= channel 7 or 8
link= on
trim= on
switch= null.

Hope this helps.

For the 8103 use P-Mis 5 or 6. That way the slave will be trimmed also.
Plug in one side to elev and the other to aux 3
Mix Elev to Aux 3
Set the corect direction
the go to ATV for aux3 and set both directions to 0.
That way the Aux3 side of the elev wont move with the rotary knob.
