FMA copilot effectiveness in low semi obstructed areas
Has anyone any actual experience using the FMA FS8 co-pilot at low levels and with the horizon partially blocked? Like hovering an heli 10 - 20 feet with a two story garage 30 feet behind you.
Thanks.
Thanks.

RE: FMA copilot effectiveness in low semi obstructed areas
You will find that the Co-pilot tends to veer away from nearby objects that are warmer than the sky (which is the usual situation).
I've noticed when flying alongside a row of hangars (below roof-level) that the plane will bank away from them slightly.
If you don't have the sensitivity wound up too high this isn't generally a problem.
