Default Eclipse, flaperons,2wng glider ?

Setting up a Fling DL

I am setting up a Fling Dl and would like to incorperate flaperon ability. The manual does not show how to do this in glider mode ( Ch 1 & 5 for ailerons ) However in Acro it shows how to setup flaperons using Ch. 1 & 6 .

If I were to set this glider up in acro , with flaperons, would it work. And how would flap feature be activated
Also how to you folks go about charging up the battery? Iam not sure I ever be able to get back out once it is installed. Things are pretty tight up front.
Eclipse 7 , Electron 6, Hitec servos. Any help greatly appreciated.[]

Default RE: Eclipse, flaperons,2wng glider ?

Eclipse uses 1 & 6 for flapperons. Don't think it can do flapperons on 1&5.

On page 28 of the manual they reference that the 2WG glider set-up is the flapperon set-up using 1&6

From the manual:

The following section describes how to use the glider-specific menu functions
(model type GLID). Descriptions of the other functions are contained in the
aircraft (ACRO) section. There are two different glider modes in the Eclipse 7
system. You set them up in the Model Setup menus (see page 10). 4WNG
refers to a glider with four wing servos. 2WNG refers to a model with two
wing servos for flaperons,
but this setup also applies to models with an
additional flap or spoiler servo in CH6.
