Default Hitec transmitter and JR Receiver

I just purchased a complete RC Helicopter via Ebay. The receiver is a JR, my transmitter is a Hitec Eclipse 7. My question is are they compatable or do I need to get a new system for this chopper?

If the JR Rx is a PCM then no it is not compatable. If the RX is FM then yes they are compatable. Go to Page 11 of your Eclipse manual and it will tell you how to select the proper transmit shift for JR. Of course you must have the same channel as the RX or if you have the Spectra module with your Eclipse then just pop the module out and dial in the same frequency.
